Welcome to Hilda & Iris, a brand deeply rooted in family and inspired by life’s simple joys. The name is a tribute to my beloved grandmothers, who shaped my creativity and love for beauty in their own unique ways. Hilda, with her warm and humble nature, introduced me to the world of watercolour, and to embrace creativity. Iris, a fiercely independent 91-year-old with an enduring love for gardening, and the love of gentle pastel hues.

Founded in 2022, what began as a personal passion has blossomed into a creative journey. Based near Falmouth, Cornwall, my designs draw from playful moments, the beauty of nature, and the slow, wholesome rhythm of life by the coast. Each piece begins with my hand-painted and drawn illustrations, crafted with watercolour and gouache, then thoughtfully refined and digitally arranged into charming stationery collections. 

After leaving my teaching career to embrace motherhood, I’m thrilled to officially launch Hilda & Iris in 2025, sharing heartfelt designs that celebrate creativity, family, and the beauty of everyday life. I’m excited to reach out and make connections with like-minded people who have a love of stationery and design.
